CANON OF SOLAR ECLIPSES : BOOK
BOOK VERSION
This volume with its 14258 solar eclipses, is the largest and most complete updated catalogue on this matter. All calculations are based on the latest theories on the motion of the Moon and the Sun and a great space is given to the maps and to the details of the times. In fact, not only the times of the maximum eclipse were calculated, but also the beginning and end of each phase, the northern and southern limits, the curves at sunrise, at sunset and at maximum, the six times of the initial and final contact of the line of centrality, with details about where all this happens, the durations, the magnitude, the Saros, the lunation and other. A detailed discussion was made for all total, annular, hybrid and partial eclipses of this century, then follows a great historical part with data from 3000 BC to 3000 AD, six millennia of data, which may be useful for historical researches but also for stargazing astronomers and professionals.
