Lacaille has intentional therefore to honor the Norma in order to design, one of the
instruments more beloveds to the designers. It is a young costellation and does not
boast myths . Lacaille originally called it Livella and Regolo, the instruments of
the carpenter. It has been also called the Triangle of the South (without some
relation with the Austral Triangle).
