MYTHOLOGY

In this region of sky the man always has been accustomed to notice a sexy, vigorous and
strong creature : the Sumeri identified Tiamat, a being cited in the Enuma Elish, poem
on the creation of the world, while the Hebrew recognized the Leviathan, beast cited in
the salm 74. The Greek ones instead spoke of Idra, that it figured in the collective
imaginary like a great enemy of Eracle; it was daughter, second some, of the monster
Tifeo and Echidna, than in its turn she was a feminine monster like a gigantic viper,
Echidna was moreover mother of Cerbero, of the Chimera and the dog Ortro , with which
she subsequently generated the Sfinge and the idra, exactly. During its second hard
work, the son of Zeus had to hunt the enormous mortal creature and to burn all the
heads of the animal before being able to behead the central head, decreeing therefore
the definitive defeat of the idra. In the enterprise took part also Lolao, its grandson,
that prepared a greatest bonfire, burning half forest for killing the heads of the
monster. Only with this strategy it was possible to pull down the mythical fair.
An other myth leads back it to the history of close crow.
