MYTHOLOGY
The crow was considered a sacred animal of Apollo, in how much, during the fight between goddess and giants, the musician God had transformed itself just in a crow. An other anecdote reports that the bird, in gone times, it had to be white like the snow, but was transformed in a black dark bird from Apollo, when it reported to the God of the infidelity of one woman that he loved, Coronide. In Greek mythology, the crow is sent to take a cup of water (Crater), but it returns instead with a snake of sea (Idra).
