MYTHOLOGY

It is one of the smallest constellations of the whole celestial sky
and it represents a chameleon,a rather unusual animal, that attracted
the interest of the pioneers of the exploration of America of the
South in the sixteenth century. It named so Johannes Bayer and, from
the moment that it isn't of ancient identification, it doesn't have
myths that concern it.
With stars coming from the Chameleon and from the Carena, in the
1589 Petrus Plancius it drew the asterismo of the Antarctic Triangle,
then erased.
